The apartment is on the 1st floor of a small apartment building and can accommodate 4 people. The apartment is superbly decorated, renovated and newly furnished. The distribution is as follows: 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living room and balcony. From the sun-drenched balcony high above the Rombach you actually feel like you are in the eagle's nest and enjoy the panorama over the Glarus Alps. Dorfstrasse is on the side facing away from the apartment. The closest bus stop is "Amden, Dorf". An outside parking space is available. The village of Amden is famous for its great landscape and the unique location between Lake Walen and the mountain peaks of Leistchamm, Mattstock or Speer. Thus, it's not surprising that there's a wide range of outdoor activities on the doorstep: beautiful and diverse hiking trails, themed trails for the whole family, graceful viewpoints, cozy bathing bays on Lake Walen, children's playgrounds, climbing walls and much more. In winter, untouched winter landscapes entice you to explore. For example on snowshoe routes or winter hiking trails. The renowned Swiss ski school and the Amden-Arvenbüel ski area are particularly popular with families. Our tip: The family-friendly indoor swimming pool in Amden is just a few minutes' walk from the holiday apartment. Enjoy a cozy evening in the particularly warm panoramic jacuzzi. By the way, Amden is the perfect starting point for excursions to the surrounding area: Zurich, Chur, Lucerne or St. Gallen are a maximum of one hour away. The holiday regions Glarnerland, Heidiland and the Rapperswil Lake Zurich region are in the immediate vicinity.
